Determined to avoid the disfunction of their parents and heal what is broken within themselves, four friends decide to form their own kind of family. But what breaks between them when they find that their bond is not the answer. UNDER ONE HUNDRED CONDITIONS explores the gradations of codependency and the elusiveness of home—the trauma we have been taught to ignore and the people we love, but whom we regrettably use to survive it.

What's Playdate?

Each month, The Shelter invites you to make a date with a new play. Here’s how it works: Our staff specially selects a fresh off the vine play that we’re really excited about. We pair the play with an insanely gifted director and cast. They rehearse. Then we present the play to you as a FREE reading. Pay nothing. Just show up and enjoy. All the fun and theatre you could ever want—with none of the commitment. FIND MORE PLAYDATES
